Authors are invited to submit abstracts written in English for oral presentation. Please read the guidelines below and submit your abstract. The deadline for abstract submission is extended till June 23th!

All abstracts will be evaluated and the authors will be notified of the outcome before 1 July, 2008. Accepted abstracts will be published in the web sites of the conference.

Due to limited space in the conference lecture hall, the number of participants is limited. We recommend you to register early.

Guidelines for abstract preparation and submission

Abstracts should be submitted via the congress website. The corresponding author is also the presenting author and must be registered for the conference before sending an abstract. Abstracts are written in English. The corresponding author must ensure that co-authors are aware and approve of the submitted abstract.

Please adhere to the instructions in the submission of your abstract

• name and contact details of the presenting author (who is also the corresponding author)
• authors and affiliations
• abstract title (max. 150 characters)
• abstract text (max. 3000 characters)

You may copy and paste text to most of the fields in the abstract submission form. Capitalize only the first word in the abstract title and include all authors in the authors' list. Please avoid using special characters in your abstract, but if this is unavoidable, please send your abstract also as a word document attachment to avoid errors. After you have completed the abstract submission form, remember to click the Submit-button.

Receipt of abstracts will be immediately acknowledged by email (auto-reply). If you do not receive the auto-reply and/or additional confirmation within 7 days of abstract submission, please contact riitta.pirinen(at)uta.fi
